Got this tip from Abe at Yugatech. It looks like the 3G iPhone has finally landed on Philippine shores! I’m not totally sure though if these are legal iPhones or if they are smuggled goods (which is most probably the case). It’s currently being sold at 30,000 through Auction.PH, a web based selling portal simillar to e-Bay. Here’s a picture:

    Pretty. Hehe.

The question now is if the phone will actually work with Philippine sim cards. They might still be locked but that won’t be a problem for the people at Greenhills. If anyone decides to buy from Auction.PH, please let me know if the unit is actually working and legit.

Seller is unwilling to avail of Auction.ph’s Escrow service.

      I believe its a scam.

Compare that posting with this post on eBay:

The sellers have the same name, pictures and the descriptions are similar.

And yeah, the seller also refused to meet personally LOL.

      It so screams SCAM.

I heard Globe’s about to release iPhone here in the Philippines this year? I’d rather wait for that. A few more months of waiting will be worth it. :D

      *sorry for the double post.

I wanted to make a comment on the heroes trailer since I’m a big fan of this series but the embedded video hangs my browser. It happened 3 times. Dunno why. lol. I only saw that the video is from NBC?

I’ll blog about it too. hehe. Thanks for the info sir wauks. I found a video from youtube. I’ll just use that one. :D

those are fake. Apple doesn’t release unlocked iPhones, especially to the Phils. the real ones come out, when Globe releases them.

Look at the comments in Mr. Olandres’ blog post. It’s a scam. The buyer only wants the money to be deposited and not through safe methods of paying. Shady, right?

don’t buy those stuff. the iphone 3g sold in the US is locked for AT&T users only. antay nyo nalang yung isesell ng globe if ever gusto nyo ng iphone. give it like 2-3 weeks…someone from somewhere will try to unlock that phone…same thing that happened with the 1st one.
